About Maurina
I have been a dedicated resident for over 20 years, actively involved in local initiatives and raising my family here. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and am a Public Affairs Assistant for the City of Long Beach. As a union member of IAM Local 1930 and former Director of Tobacco Programs at the Institute for Public Strategies, I have led prevention initiatives and fostered policy changes. With over 15 years of experience in public health, advocacy, and education, I am committed to equity and supporting all students in the community.
